Training & services

At Princecroft, we are keen to welcome visitors to the school to share our practice and the key teaching and learning programmes we use.

School leaders and teachers have visited us to see our work and learn from us. Here is what they say:

‘A privilege to see Princecroft Primary in action today. This is one of the UK’s finest primary schools and I encourage anyone interested in curriculum and scholarly learning to visit’

Jan Hilary NLE

I can’t remember the last time I came away from a course as enthused as I did yesterday!!!
An absolutely fantastic day – hopefully this will have a great impact on what we are doing back in school

Developing Reading Across The School

Establishing high quality reading lessons was one of the first steps we took towards transforming our curriculum. Our vision was simple- every child would be a reader with no exception. We understood that if children were not confident readers, this would be detrimental to their success across the curriculum, and took steps to ensure that no child was left behind.

Join us for a day exploring how we developed a culture of reading across the school, established a quality reading spine of over 40 texts, ensured staff were skilled in the teaching of reading and overhauled the lessons to ensure progression, high challenge and success.
