Ash Class I’m Alive  (term 6)

This term Ash Class will be busy exploring our local environment through our very exciting topic, I’m Alive. I know the children have been busy over the holidays preparing their own habitats at home to share with their friends and we will be taking this even further in school over the next few weeks. Our topic will see us using the story of Jaspers Beanstalk to find out what living things need in order to grow and what happens when they don’t get what they need! We will be furthering our performance skills with the learning of our new class text, The Very Hungry Caterpillar by Eric Carle. The children have been building up a fantastic bank of stories which they can retell by heart since they started in September and this is a great one that I’m sure parents will enjoy joining in with too. Please take a look at our Topic Web which is packed with lots of details about this term and come and see me if there are any questions.

We are looking forward to another fantastic term in Ash Class.
